William S. Clark, Jr., of Doylestown, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at his residence. He was 78 and the husband of the late Mary E. (Worthington) Clark, who passed away in 2019.

Born in Doylestown, he was the son of the late William S. and Virginia Rutherford Clark.

Bill was a graduate of New Hope-Solebury High School.

He was very involved in his community as a member of the Plumsteadville Fire Department and Plumsteadville Ambulance Corp, as well as a police officer for the Plumstead Township Police Department.

Bill was a longtime employee of Bell Telephone until his retirement in 1992.

He was a faithful member of Hilltown Baptist Church and was proud to share his faith through the telecare ministry to his surrounding communities, as well as from coast to coast and overseas.

Bill is survived by his children: Keith, Don, Elizabeth and Richard, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Hilltown Baptist Church, 26 Upper Church Road, Chalfont, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Hilltown Baptist Church Cemetery.
