William H. Hoxworth passed away at home on April 10, 2022. He was 85 and a Doylestown resident for more than sixty-five years.
Born in 1936 he was the son of the late Ruth Wynn Wolford and Harry Hoxworth.
Bill graduated from Central Bucks in 1954. He was an avid reader, had a great interest in history and loved watching old movies. He was a long time bank teller at Continental Bank (Doylestown National Bank) and retired from IVB (Wells Fargo), where he made many friends.
He is survived by his brother, Robert Wolford, sisters: Joan Brown (late Leroy “Corky”), Doris Krondon (Roger), nieces Julie Brown, Brenda Lazarus (Richard), Kellie Rothenberger (Jack), Jennifer Gray (Will), great-nieces: Kala Holloway (Ryan), Maeve Rothenberger, great-nephew, Jason Lazarus and many friends.
Services and interment will be private.
