Thomas Joseph Lacey, Sr, of Furlong, died on March 16, 2022. He was 91 years old and the husband for seventy years of Barbara L. Lacey.
Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late James and Mary (Volk) Lacey.
He is survived by his children: Thomas J. Lacey Jr. (Kathy), Lynda Burns and Cynthia Jarret (David); his grandchildren: Daniel, Christina, Ryan, Katie, Lisa, Michael, Becky as well as his great-grandchildren: Sean, Cade, Cameron, Amelia, Parker, Ashton, Coda, Annabelle, Colin, Corrina, Theo, Anthony and Emily. He was predeceased by his grandson, William.
Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The children gave him much joy and he loved spending time with them more than anything. He loved sailing his boats and enjoyed sharing that passion with the family. He also spent many years enjoying time spent working on his ground in Ferndale, PA. He enjoyed hours this past year sitting on the porch or sofa watching the wildlife in his yard, which included the deer coming to the door for apples.
He, Pop Pop, will be terribly missed by his family and friends who shared many happy times together.
Services are private. Interment will be at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
