Theresa G. Roney of Doylestown passed away on Thursday, December 15 at Pine Run Health Care Center. She was 96 and the wife of the late Edward Roney.
Born in Doylestown, she the daughter of the late Anna Lyons and William Happ, Sr.
She was a beloved Mother and Nana. Very devoted to her church, Our Lady of Mt Carmel, and to her family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her six children: Jim, John (Pam), Jeff (Weez), Joe (Donna), Anne (Steve) and Trisha (Bill); eleven grandchildren: Danielle (Ryan), Joel (Rachael), Nike (Katie), Jessica (Luke), Laura (Dusty), Josh (Rachel), Casey, Zachary, Tyler, Dylan and Ryan and six great-grandchildren: Jacob, Joshua, Carter, Jeremy, Kenley and Rowan, with two more great-grandchildren on the way.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 21 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow Mass in St. Mary Cemetery.
