Stephanie (Puffy Lojeski) Jones of Stroudsburg passed on Sunday, September 11 with her loving family by her side after a long battle with cancer. She was 71 and the wife of Richard A. Jones.
Born in Doylestown, Stephanie was the daughter of the late Alfred and Stephanie (Stryjeski) Lojeski.
She was formally a marketing director for Instrument Specialties for a number of years. Most recently she was the secretary at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Stroudsburg.
On of her great loves was gardening and flowers, known for her green thumb and being able to make anything grow. She also loved the beach and being with family, especially Steph, Matt, Billy, Nate, Sammy and Max.
Stephanie was the most loving wife, sister, aunt and friend anyone could ask for. Her loving smile, caring touch and generosity will be dearly missed. “Our hearts are breaking as we write this. We love you Puffy. A piece of our hearts goes with you.”
In addition to her husband, Stephanie is survived by her sisters: Sandra Snyder ( Bill), Patricia Behling and Shirley Lojeski (Tom), her beloved niece and nephews: Stephanie Snyder (Kyle), Matthew Behling (Elizabeth), William Snyder and Nathan Behling, as well as her great nephews: Samuel and Maxwell Behling.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 16 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
