Robert J. Murphy, of Doylestown, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the age of 51.

Born in Scranton, Bob was the loving husband of Catherine Elizabeth (Meehan) and devoted father of Collin Robert.

Following graduation in 1988 from Riverside High School in Taylor, PA, Bob earned a BA degree from SUNY Binghamton (‘92) where he joined and remained active in SAE. After completing his MBA from USC Business School, Bob settled in California, started a family and began a twenty-five year career in medical device sales and marketing. His passion for the field eventually brought him back to Pennsylvania.

He enjoyed coaching and supporting Collin’s basketball and baseball teams.

In addition to his wife and son, Bob is survived by his father: Robert M. (Nancy) and his sister: Courtney Hull (Patrick).

He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Jean (O’Malley).

Relatives and friends are invited to his prayer service at 4 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
