Richard A. Pinkston, IV, also known as Rick Allen, of Doylestown, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at his home. He was 64 and the husband for 29 years of Diane Lucas.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, he is the son of Doris Muscovally Pinkston and the late Richard A. Pinkston, III.
Rick was a musician to the bottom of his heart. He was an accomplished guitar player and worked for 27 years as a radio announcer for 94.1 WYSP. He was also published in the magazine Vintage Guitar.
He was a huge Beatles fan. His beautiful voice and music will be missed by all.
In addition to his wife, Rick is survived by many loving members of his family and his friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
