Louise Emma Carlson of Doylestown peacefully passed away on Friday, May 19th she was 81 years old.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Gertrude Jörn Bohlman.
She grew up in Doylestown and was among the first graduating class of 1953 from Central Bucks High School. Louise graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Gwynedd Mercy University and worked for Penn Foundation in Perkasie. She also worked for the County of Bucks, where she retired from the Tax Mapping Department.
She was very proud and loved her five children and grandchildren very much. Louise had a strong faith and loved to visit and attend the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. She enjoyed going for rides in the car to see the horses and the country side of Tinicum Township.
Louise is survived by her five children, Gustaf Carlson (Nancy) of Maine, Arthur Carlson (Leisa) of Lenhartsville, Susan Strollo (Jack) of Doylestown, Brenda Ditalia of Warrington and Robert Carlson (Dawn) of Doylestown; nine grandchildren: Courtney, Taryn, Amelia, Olivia, Matthew, Nicholas, Timothy, David, Sean and two great grandchildren: Damien and Dustin, as well as her brother, Walter Bohlman (Candace) and family.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 12:30 p.m., until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
