Judith E. Allin of Doylestown passed away on October 9 at her home surrounded by family. Judy was 83 and the wife of William G. Allin.

Born in Doylestown she was the daughter of the late Margaret Braedy and Daniel Tomlinson.

Judy attended Bryn Mawr Nursing School to become a pediatric nurse as an LPN. In September of 1973, she earned her Pennsylvania and New Jersey real estate licenses and worked as a Realtor until 2019. Judy’s life was spent enjoying her family vacations on the Outer Banks where she loved to para-sail. Her life was filled with her career, family and socializing with her many friends.  Judy and Bill celebrated fifty years together on September 30.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Hicks, her sons, Mark Hicks and Brian Hicks, her stepchildren, Julie Allin and Eric Allin, eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. Judy was predeceased by her son, Michael H. Hicks.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11 a.m.,Thursday, October 20 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
