John Jeffrey Overholt of Palmer, Alaska passed away on November 20, 2023 at his home, He was fifty-two years old.
Born in Doylestown, he was the son of Janet Towler Overholt and the late William “Bill” Overholt.
John graduated from New Hope Solebury High School, class of 1990. He attended Widener University and Bucks County Community College before joining the United States Coast Guard having retired after twenty-two years of service.
John’s pride and joy was spending time with his sons. He also was an avid ice hockey fan and enjoyed playing floor hockey.
In retirement, John volunteered at VFW Post 9364 in Wasilla, Alaska and spent time working on his home.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his sons: Tristan J. and Konrad J. Overholt of Homer Alaska, their mother, Tania and his brother, Wm. Christopher Overholt of Solebury, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at 1 p.m., January 7, 2024 at VFW Post 9365, 30l East Lake Avenue, Wasilla, Alaska.
Relatives and friends are invited to his interment at 10:45 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, Pennsylvania.
