The world lost a bright sparkling light, Evelyn R. Delaney, on May 12th, 2022.

Evelyn was the loving wife of Patrick J Delaney (widowed) and devoted mother of Victoria (Nick Massaro), Kimberly (Scott Geissel) and Alexandria (Frederick Fordham). She was the loving grandmother of Nicholas Patrick Massaro, Alexis Kimberly Massaro, Ashley Delaney Geissel and Madison Alivia Massaro.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the treasured daughter of Newton A. Peacock and Evelyn R. Peacock (Bordner). She lived in Buckingham, PA where she raised her family, volunteered with various local organizations and was well known for her generous heart among neighbors and friends.

Evelyn started her career at Philadelphia Electric Company where she made lifelong friendships. She retired from Heritage Towers, an assisted living facility in Doylestown, PA where her compassion and care endeared her to colleagues and residents.

In her retirement, she devoted her life to her family, spending all of her time with her adoring grandchildren who remember each day with Grammy as a happy new adventure filled with laughter.

Evelyn brought joy to all who were blessed to have met her. Her soul and spirit shine so bright she will live on in the hearts of all she touched.

Friends and loved ones are invited to join in a celebration of Evelyn’s life at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday May 24th at Doylestown Presbyterian Church, 127 East Court Street, Doylestown, PA, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
