Elaine Cohen Siegel, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 5, 2022. She was the wife of the late Joe Siegel.

Born in “da Bronx” New York in 1937, she was the daughter of the late Alice and Alexander Cohen.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Jeanne Tal (Ofer) of Evergreen, Colorado; Mark Jackowski (Cindy) of Sellersville, Pennsylvania; Sandy Siegel of Plantation, Florida, as well as grandchildren: Adam Tal and Jordan Tal. She was predeceased by her brother, Gerald Cohen of Palm Springs, California.

Elaine graduated from Walton High in Bronx, New York in 1955 and then attended NYU, graduating in 1959 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. She worked for Doyle Dane Bernbach Advertising on Madison Ave.

She moved to Doylestown in 1973 and worked for Bucks County Consumer Protection. She was a large supporter of the arts and an avid movie fan. During Covid she lived her dream to stay in bed and watch Netflix. She was blessed to have many friends, from elementary school to new ones she just met. Her sense of humor and enthusiastic outlook on life will be missed by all.

A memorial service will begin at10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, Pennsylvania where the family will greet guests following the service until 12:30 p.m.    The service may also be viewed at
