Diane L. Woodford

Diane Woodford (Gribbin) of Fountainville,  passed away on March 15, peacefully with her daughter, Elizabeth and best friend, Elaine Kifolo, by her side. She was 70 years old and the wife for 46 years of Glenn Woodford.

Born in Philadelphia; she was the daughter of the late Rosemary Uebele Gallagher.

Diane was a graduate of Archbishop Ryan in Philadelphia. After getting married she had moved to Point Pleasant, PA prior moving to Fountainville into her forever home.

Diane’s hobbies included taking care of all her family above everything else, taking her dog, Abby, for walks at Peace Valley Park or at the canal in New Hope, spoiling her grand-dog Chase, shopping at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx, attending concerts and Phillies games (even when they were terrible) with her daughter and always ready to go get a margarita. Her favorite vacation spot was her backyard, being by the pool and favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. Her favorite sports team was the Phillies and favorite player was Carlos Ruiz.

In addition to her husband and daughter she is survived by her three brothers: Michael (Trish) Gallagher, Rick (Mary) Gribbin and Bill (Jody) Gallagher, her nieces and nephews: Ryan Gallagher, Sean Gallagher, Kelly (Bruno) Grimaldi, Jaqueline (Stewart) Matson, Jessica (Dominick) Paraschak, Lauren (Jarrod) McCracken, Mikaela Gribbin, Kevin (Maureen) Gallagher, Tim (Keira) Gallagher, and Courtney Gallagher. She was the great-aunt to many grand nieces and nephews, and was especially looking forward to being a great-aunt to her niece arriving in June and nephew arriving in August. She is also survived by numerous other family and friends that she loved dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial Mass and Eulogy beginning at 9:45 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2023 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown. Interment will be private.
