Diane Lynn McGerr, a dedicated nursing home administrator at Briarleaf Nursing Home for an impressive 41 years, passed away on October 18, 2023, leaving a void that will be deeply felt. Her life’s purpose was clear, as she devoted herself to the compassionate care of those in need. Beyond her professional commitments, Diane found solace and joy in crafting and canning, skills she generously shared with those around her.
Diane is preceded in death by her father, William I McGerr, her mother, Marion Wilkie, her brother, William I McGerr, and her dear friend, Patricia Palovcak. Her passing leaves a profound sense of loss, but she is survived by a vast community of close friends and colleagues who will cherish her memory and the impact she had on their lives.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, October 27 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. Guests will be greeted from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
