Darlene M. Fell of Doylestown passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on October 31, 2022 at home in Lansdale. She was 79 years old.

Darlene was employed by the Bucks County Senior Center in Doylestown and enjoyed the many friends and co-workers she met while there. She was a longtime member and beloved employee of the Doylestown Maennerchor.

She had a love for animals, specifically, birds, many of which she kept as pets and companions. She was known for her sarcasm and quick wit. She was a bright light and her passing leaves the world a little darker.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Christina Travers; her grandchildren, Joseph and Renee; her sisters, Melanie and Jerrilyn and nephew, Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Fell, and son, Timothy Travers.

Her grave side service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, November 4 at Mechanicsville Cemetery, 3434 Durham Road, Mechanicsville, where all who knew Darlene may say their final goodbyes.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Darlene’s name may be made to the Bucks County Senior Center, 700 North Shady Retreat Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
