Dane C. Scott of Doylestown, passed away on May 18, 2021. He was 75 years old and the husband of Jerilyn G. Scott.

Dane earned a Master’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania before serving in the Army at Fort Greely, Alaska.

At the time of death, he was employed as a Senior Research Engineering Fellow at Matheson Tri Gas, where he held multiple patents.

Dane was an avid sailor and car enthusiast.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Heather Zavanelli and Hillary Larsen-Scott, their spouses Mark Zavanelli and Teresa Larsen-Scott, as well as his grandchildren: Nathan Zavanelli, Duncan Zavanelli, and Amelia Larsen-Scott.

Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service at 11 a.m., Tuesday,       May 25 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. Interment will be private.
