Caitlin E. Thomas

d. February 25, 2021

Caitlin Erin Thomas (Farley) of Doylestown, passed away on Thursday, February 25th 2021 at her home surrounded by family after a long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer. She was 33 years old.

Caitlin was a graduate of Central Bucks High School South ‘05 where she played violin and field hockey, received her Bachelor of Science from Delaware Valley University ’09 and later received her Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Walden University. Caitlin proudly worked in tandem with her husband running Camp Curiosity, The Curiosity Shoppe, and Toddler Center.

Caitlin lived her life as a devoted follower of Christ and spent many of her later days praying and writing prayers for the ones she loved. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by family, especially her children and husband who shared unlimited laughs and made memories in unsuspected ways like living room campouts and spontaneous dance parties.

Caitlin loved any animal she met and had fond memories of riding horses at Buehler’s Idlewild Inn with her brothers and paternal cousins as a child and later working with the animals at Camp Curiosity including the horses, ducks, chickens, goats and sheep. During the summer months, she could often be found relaxing in the backyard of her maternal grandparents’ LBI beach house in her aviator sunglasses.

Among many things, Caitlin passed her love of horses to her daughter, her love of ice hockey to her son and her love of God to all those that knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Jeremiah, daughter, Evelyn, son, William, dog Charlie, parents Patrick and Erin (Muth) Farley and brothers: Ryan (sister-in-law, Katie Callahan) and Andrew. Caitlin was born in Langhorne, Pennsylvania and is celebrated by her large supportive family filled with her loving maternal grandparents, Jeanne and John Muth, Sr., paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Farley, and mother-in-law, Ellen Thomas, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert A. Farley, Sr. and her father-in-law, William D Thomas.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass at 12 p.m., Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Private family interment will follow Mass.
