Barbara J. Dougherty of Doylestown died on November 26th, 2021. She was 84 years old and was the wife of the late Robert B. Dougherty, who passed in 2006 and her first husband, the late John Murphy. She will also join two of her children, Baby John and Erin Oniskey, in heaven.

Born in the Bronx, New York, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Marie Scully.

Barbara was a beloved mother, stepmother and wife who loved nothing more than taking care of her children and family. Irish through-and-through, she was a lively storyteller with a sharp sense of humor. Her home was cozy and always filled with laughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Saldi, as well as her stepchildren, Susan Kotubey, Robert Dougherty, Jr., Kathleen Burns, Timothy Dougherty, Jeffery Dougherty and Christian Dougherty. She was also blessed with three grandchildren, Sara Saldi, Michael Saldi and Murphy Oniskey, and one great-grandchild, Emma Rich.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial Mass at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown.   Interment will follow Mass in Doylestown Cemetery.
