Albina F. Bliss, of Doylestown, passed away after a short illness Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Wesley Enhanced Living. She was 101 and the wife of the late Wilbur Bliss.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Anna Arcaro Vacco.
Albina worked many years as a floral designer at Cheswick Floral in Cheswick, Pennsylvania.
Survivors include her son: George Bliss, his wife, Hilarie; her daughter: Lynne Venters, wife of the late Louis Venters; her grandchildren: Christy Venters, her husband, Aric Branchfield, and Jamie Venters, his wife, Alexandra; her great grandsons: Jack Branchfield and William Venters as well as her siblings: Gloria Maguire, Maria Pegnato and Frances Vacco.
Albina was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence Vacco, David Vacco and Donald Vacco.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 3 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at a later date in Pittsburgh.
