Sarah J. “Sally” Kalozi of New Britain passed away on December 6 at her home. She was 88 years old and the beloved wife of the late Rudolph Kalozi.
Sally was born in Philadelphia.
She enjoyed ice skating and horseback riding in her youth.
She worked as a secretary for Philco, where she met her husband, Rudy. They lived in the Abington area where she started to raise her family. They traveled to Brazil for his work and traveled back to Lansdale for a brief time before they moved to Michigan. Rudy had another overseas assignment in Portugal and during that time he had a short business trip in London, where he had a massive stroke. She then moved to New Britain, where she cared for him for nine years.
She is survived by her children and six grandchildren. Sally always had a strong Christian faith throughout her life. She was always actively involved in church, wherever she lived. She taught Sunday School and Bible School. She was a member of The Women’s Association, The Deacons and she sang in the choir. Sally was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She always thought of others first.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday December 30, 2018 at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church, 1856 Forest Grove Road, Forest Grove, where friends may call from 2 p.m., until the time of the service. Interment will follow the service in Forest Grove, Cemetery .
