Samuel J. Detweiler of Doylestown, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. He was years 38 years old.
He is survived by his two children: Cayia S. Detweiler and Auden J. Detweiler and his wife, Catrina Payne Detweiler. He was the son of Samuel L. Detweiler and Cindy L. Detweiler.
Beyond his addiction, Sam was a funny, protective, comforting, wonderful father, friend and son.
Sam was a music lover and excellent drummer. Music was his passion and served as a healthy escape. He had a wild sense of humor and was great at card tricks. Sam was loyal, almost to a fault. His children never questioned his love for them either. Sam went to Central Bucks High School East and acquired a few trades after school.
In addition to his wife and children, he will also be sadly missed by his two sisters: Jenna Hall, her husband, Chris Hall and Nicole Hiner, her husband, Adam Hiner, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, January 21, 2019 at Living Hope Community Church, 22 West Route 313, Perkasie, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
