Robert M. Deiley, a longtime resident of Doylestown and later years, Warwick, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, August 9 at his home. He was 88 and the husband for sixty-five years of Martha O’Neill Deiley.
Born in Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Harvey C.J. and Charlotte Thomas Deiley.
Bob graduated from Allentiwn High School and Gettysburg College. He was an insurance agent, a member of Doylestown Jaycees and Kiwanis. Along with two others he founded the Doylestown Athletic Association. For many years Bob coached boys baseball, girls softball and boys wrestling. He was an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed reading and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grand.
In addition to his wife, Martha, Bob is survived his children and their spouses: Sharon and Tim Weir, Sandra Deiley and Michael and Dayna Deiley. He was Pop-pop to Matthew (Geise), Lindsey Bahleda (Steve), Tanner (Marisa) and Austin, as well as Owen, Dustin, Kieran, Grace, Luca and Zion. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Flores.
Services and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
