Rick Stanley Peters, of Orlando, FL, previously of Doylestown died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at his home. He was 46 years old.
He was born in Edmonton-Alberta, Canada, having been adopted by Dr. Stanley Peters and the late Mary Jane Peters at the age of 5. He was a member of the Cree lndian Tribe.
Rick was a graduate of Plumstead Christian School and eventually moved to Florida where he resided for many years and married Tony Methal. Rick loved everything about Disney and also loved his dogs.
He lived with his husband, Tony, in Orlando, FL. His many friends placed numerous photos and words of kindness and remembrances on his Facebook page.
In addition to his husband, Tony, Rick is survived by his father, Dr. Stanley Peters, as well as his siblings, Tom (Kate), Glenn (Debbie), Jan (Jon), Kevin (Kristy), Keith (Kelly), Joy (Jerry), and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his good friend, Brendan McCarthy, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was predeceased by his sister, Julie.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial service at 4 p.m, Thursday, July 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1000 West Main Street, Lansdale. lnterment will be private.
