Raymond B. Reinl, 96, of Furlong, PA passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on February 17, 2025.

Ray was born in Philadelphia, PA to Benedict and Anna Reinl in 1928.

 In 1949, he received his undergraduate degree from LaSalle University. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1954. He practiced law in the Philadelphia area until retiring in 2013.

Ray served in the U.S. Army at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin (1950-1952). It was during his service in Wisconsin that he met Rosella Anne Jolivette. They married in 1955 in LaCrosse, WI and made their home in the Philadelphia area. During later years, he and Rosella traveled often to LaCrosse to visit family. 

Ray was very instrumental in building up youth ice hockey in Southeastern PA. He established Wintersport Ice Sports Arena in 1972 where he created the Wintersport Royals Youth Hockey Program. He founded the Viking Ice Hockey Club of Archbishop Wood High School. He coached teams in both organizations for many years. Ray also helped establish and was active in various hockey leagues in the tri-state area, including the Delaware Valley Hockey League (DVHL) and the Suburban High School Hockey League (SHSHL).

Ray was a loving, family-centered husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. His family was always at the top of his priorities. He is survived by his children Annette Savage (Tom), Diane Story, Gregory Reinl (Tracy), Kenneth Reinl (Renée), Genevieve Eastburn (Rick), Dennis Reinl (Karen), 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Rosella, his son Raymond J. Reinl and daughter Alice M. Reinl.

Ray was a devout Catholic, whose faith guided him with conviction and integrity in all aspects throughout his life, and now reunites him with his beautiful Rose.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 10:30AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 235 E State St, Doylestown, PA 18901. Visitation at the church from 9:30-10:15AM.

Interment at Doylestown Cemetery, 215 E Court St, Doylestown, PA 18901
