Nancy L. Stellfox, of Buckingham, died Sunday, November 13, 2016, at her residence. She was 78 and the wife of the late Warren M. Stellfox, who passed away in 2005.
Born in Cleveland Township, Columbia County, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie Loreman Miller.
She grew up on a farm which naturally lead to her love of food and family and she was an excellent cook and baker. Her desserts were fantastic. She was also very creative, hand making many different types of crafts.
Nancy was proud of her work with Bucks County Opportunity Council, a 10-year career of helping people in need. She especially enjoyed working with local food banks.
She was very active at Salem United Church of Christ, teaching bible school for many, many years.
Nancy was an amazingly strong woman whose family members looked up to and strived to be like. She lived her life in a very mindful, caring, kind and loving way having impact on all she came in contact with.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Stellfox Connor, her husband, James, of Chalfont, her son, Warren Stellfox, of Quakertown, her four grandchildren, Jennifer, George, William and Caitlin Connor; her sister, Harriet Hendricks, of Catawissa, her niece, Peggy Artley and her nephew, Dale Hendricks, both of Catawissa.
Nancy was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Artley and her brother, Marlin Miller.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016, at Salem United Church of Christ, 186 E. Court Street, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 12 noon until the time of the service. The family will also receive guests Friday evening, November 18, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. Interment will be private.
