Mary Jo (Alldred) Lebiedzinski of Warminster died on Tuesday, December 29, surrounded by her loving family at Bristol House Memory Care. She was 73 and the loving wife for 52 years of John Lebiedzinski.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Cyril T. and Mary Christine (Bordonaro) Alldred.
Taken from us too soon by the effects of Parkinson’s disease and Dementia, she was a loving wife, stay-at-home mother of four and grandmother of ten.
She enjoyed weekend camping with her young family and passed along to her children her love of cooking and sewing. She cherished her family and taught softly by example. She was a lifelong Phillies fan, even when they were losing and loved years of family vacations in Ocean City, New Jersey, although she never really liked the beach.
Mrs. L touched many children’s lives while providing years of after-school care. For most of her life, MJ was an avid bowler on a Monday morning ladies bowling league, always going out to lunch afterwards. Her trademark characteristic was making people feel comfortable and she always thought of others before herself. Her laugh was often and contagious and will be remembered always.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Karen Freundlich, her husband, Joel; Michael Lebiedzinski, his wife, Rachel; Marc Lebiedzinski, his wife, Lynn and Jill Lebiedzinski as well as ten grandchildren.
Her family would like to thank the staff and nurses at Bristol House for their attentive and loving care of MJ over the past year and the hospice nurses who provided comfort and compassion to her and her family during her final days.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow Mass in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary Jo’s name may be made to Bristol House Memory Care, 2527 Bristol Road, Warrington, Pennsylvania 18976.
