Mary E. Heath of Doylestown died on Wednesday, September 26 at her daughter’s home in Chalfont. She was 94 and the wife of the late Harry (Bud) Heath who died in 2000.
Born in Newtown, PA, she was the daughter of the late G. Thomas and Kathleen Schneck Ettenger.
Mary was a retired employee of Central Bucks School District, Doylestown Hospital and had been a hairdresser in her youth. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and had been named Woman of the Year. She was also a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
Her favorite pastime was being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was Nan to all.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Kathy Dickey, her husband, Steve, of Chalfont and Holly Ashmore, her husband, Paul, of Allentown; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Pat Ament of Danboro. She was predeceased by her son, Harry Robert Heath.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m., until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
