Lola A. “Cookie” Wishwanick went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 26. She was 69 and the loving wife of William A. Wishwanick.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of John L. Radosin and the late Jean D. Radosin.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Mary Varico (Christopher), William J. Wishwanick and Brian D. Wishwanick (Tana); five beautiful grandchildren and three precious great-grandchildren, as well as her siblings: Frank J. Radosin (Patricia), Greg L Radosin, Jean C. Heath (Robert) and Michele R. Kraus (Robert). She was preceded in death by siblings: John F. and Bonnie R. Radosin.
Cookie graduated from New Hope High School in 1967. She worked numerous jobs over the years as a cashier, store manager and most recently, as a floral arrangement designer.
Cookie brought much joy to the ones who knew her. She was kind hearted, loving and always found the good in anyone she met. Children adored her. They would always flock around her as she would play right along with them as if she was a kid herself. They cherished her because they knew she loved them deeply.
Her love of the outdoors was shared with her family. Planting flowers or vegetables brought much joy to Cookie with her grandfather, John C. William, her husband, her children and later her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and nothing mattered more to her than her family. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for them. She loved every one of them unconditionally.
Family and friends are invited to Cookie’s funeral Mass, 12 p.m., Tuesday, May 2 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 1 Riverstone Circle, New Hope where the family will receive guests from 11 a.m., until the time of Mass. Interment will be private.
