Kendall Wilson Foster

Kendall Wilson "Ken" Foster, born December 13, 1939, in Huntington, Pennsylvania, and raised in Emsworth, PA, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024, at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, PA , after a short illness. He and his beloved wife were longtime residents of Chalfont, PA, where they raised their family over the course of 50 years. Ken was a proud graduate of Avonworth High School, Class of 1957. Following his graduation, he dedicated much of his life to serving his country through the Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve, retiring in 1994 after decades of faithful service. Ken is survived by his cherished wife of 66 years, Aldine Foster, who was also his high school sweetheart. Together, they built a loving family that includes their four children: Teri Edwards (Bruce) of Nicholson, PA; Tracey Mullen of North Wales, PA; Matthew Foster of Horseheads, NY; and Becky Foster of North Wales, PA. Ken was the proud grandfather of six grandchildren—Bryce, Michael, Scott, Tori, Jillian, and Tanner—and four great-grandsons: Chase, Everett, Ashton, and Bentley. Ken is survived by two brothers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother and a sister. A devoted family man, Ken worked tirelessly to provide for his loved ones while remaining an involved and supportive father. He never missed his children’s activities and was a dedicated Central Bucks West band parent. Even after his children graduated, Ken continued to volunteer at War Memorial Field snack stands—a testament to his enduring spirit of service and community. In his leisure time, Ken enjoyed trapshooting and skiing—pursuits that brought him joy and lasting friendships. Those who knew him will remember his unwavering work ethic, dedication to family and community, and zest for life. Ken’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his legacy bring comfort to those who mourn his passing.
