Kathryn D. Miller of Doylestown, formerly of Revere passed away on Sunday, June 16. She was 100 and the wife of the late S. Lehman Miller who passed away in 1986.
Born in the family home in Revere, once owned by her great-grandmother, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Walter and Catherine Shick Smith.
She was a Sunday school teacher at the former Nockamixon Union Church and was active in various phases of what is now St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Ottsville. More recently, Kathryn was a member of the craft guild of Pleasantville United Church of Christ in Chalfont.
For twelve years, Kathryn was a sewing machine operator at the former Keller Glove Factory which had been in Plumsteadville. Her interests included sewing, crocheting and crafts.
Kathryn is survived by her dear friend and caregiver, Dolores Singley. She was predeceased by her daughter, Grace K. Miller, who passed in 2004.
Friends are invited to her funeral service at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 25 at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914 where respects may be paid from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Nockamixon Union Cemetery.
