Kathleen R. Albrecht, of Buckingham, died Monday, May 1, 2017, at Buckingham Valley Rehab and Nursing. She was 83 and the wife of the late Henry Albrecht, who passed away in 2010.
Born in Doylestown, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hufnagel Happ.
Following graduation from Gwynedd Mercy College, Kathleen worked as an elementary school teacher. She later met and married the love of her life, Henry Albrecht. They started a family on a farm in Warrington and later moved to Boxley Farm in Buckingham where she loved to entertain having big picnics and pig roasts, cooking and baking, raising animals and giving sleigh rides.
Surviving are her sons: Joseph (Jennifer) Albrecht, of Buckingham; Robert Albrecht, of Huntington Valley; Mark Albrecht, of California and Eric Albrecht, of Perkasie; her four grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Happ and Susan Garza , as well as her brother, Jerry Happ. Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, David
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass 10 a.m., Friday, May 5, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown. Interment will follow Mass in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township.
