Judith Costin, of Lower Gwynedd, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at her home. She was 72 and the wife of James Costin.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marie Garrow Farley.
Judy graduated from Westbury High School on Long Island, NY and from the University of Bridgeport (CT) with a BS in Biology.
She was a master gardener and loved animals and nature. She was very enthusiastic about scuba diving, especially in her favorite place in the world, the Caribbean.
Judy was funny, energetic, witty and creative and most things revolved around humor. She was also an enthusiastic grandparent.
In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by her son: Scott Costin, his wife, Christa, of Downingtown; her daughter: Kristin Costin, of Phoenixville; her grandchildren: Bodhe and Leilah; her sisters: Carol Sakowicz, her husband, Frank, of Virginia and Cherie Rodgers, her husband, Steve, of Lewisberry, PA, as well as her nieces and nephews: Christine Price, her husband, Joe, Frankie Sakowicz, Kali Rodgers and Kati Rodgers.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 424 South Main Street, North Wales, PA. A viewing will be held Friday, March 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. There will be no viewing Saturday morning. Interment will be private.
Judy wanted these events to be a celebration of her life, and as such, the family requests that colorful attire be worn.
