Joy (Granko) Phy passed away Monday, Jan. 2, 2017, surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Donald Phy for 28 years.
Born in Philadelphia in 1952, she was the daughter of Veronica Jean Granko and the late Victor Granko of Holland, Pa.
Joy was an honor roll student at Council Rock High School, and received her B.S. degree in teaching from Penn State University. Joy loved traveling to ski, kayak, bike, hike, and read.
In addition to her husband and mother, Joy is survived by her sister, Cathy. She will be missed but will be remembered in the hearts by those who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service noon Saturday, Jan. 14, at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where friends may call after 11 a.m. prior to the service.
