Joseph H. Lang of Warminster passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. He was 89 years old and the loving husband of Lois I. (Lorditch) Lang.
Born in Summerhill, PA, he was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Wilson Lang.
Joe graduated from Cambria-Rowe Business College in Johnstown
,
PA and attended the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown campus. He worked in banking most of his life and graduated from Stonier Graduate School of Banking in Rutgers, NJ. He retired from Continental Bank as vice-president.
Mr. Lang served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was past president of Doylestown Lions and an active volunteer for a number of organizations. Joe delivered meals for Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks County for many years and also volunteered for the Warminster Food Bank. He was an active volunteer in the Ann’s Choice community and was member of Ann’s Choice Chorus and Veteran’s Club.
Joe and Lois enjoyed traveling, ballroom dancing and winters in Florida.
In addition to his wife, Lois, he is survived by his daughters: Irene (David Hart) and Mary Anne (Mike Garfinkel); his sister, Mary Jean Boyle and his brother, John. He was predeceased by brothers: Alex, James, Thomas and William and sister, Eleanor Snyder.
Relatives and friends are invited to his memorial Mass at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 605 West Street Road, Warminster where the family will greet guests from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be private.
