Joseph “Joey” Anthony Renda, 58, of Doylestown, died at home surrounded by his family on November 16, 2016. Joe was the beloved husband of Ellen Renda for 36 years.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Eva Renda and the late Joseph Renda.
Joseph was a graduate of Bensalem High School, class of 1976. He loved cars and worked as a mechanic for fifteen plus years. Joe was an avid boater who loved to fish and crab on the weekends at his shore house in Mystic Island, New Jersey. He also enjoyed camping, traveling and setting up his model trains. He was a gardener who loved to spend time outside with his family. Joe could fix just about anything and was always there to help anyone in need.
Joe was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle and friend to all.
In addition to his wife and mother, Joe is also survived by his only daughter, Jessica Ann Renda, his brother, Mark Renda (Debbie) and his sister, Eva Pribish (Joe). Also surviving are his mother-in-law, Ellen Bill, sister-in-law, Karen Cirillo and brother-in-law, Gary Cooney, as well as many loving, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 22 at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, where the family will receive guests from 10 a.m., until the time of Mass. Interment will be held privately.
