John Lawrence Petko, 52, of Warrington, Pennsylvania passed away January 5, 2023 after a long illness complicated by COVID. John was born in Abington, Pa.
John attended Our Lady of Mount Carmel School, Doylestown PA, LaSalle College High School, Wyndmoor, PA and Ursinus University, Collegeville, PA earning a Bachelors Degree in History. John worked in the insurance industry. John enjoyed playing tennis and ice hockey and was an avid Eagles, Phillies and Flyers Fan. He loved food and enjoyed spending time around the table with family.
John was predeceased by his parents, John and Geraldine, as well as, his brother Mark Stephen.
John is survived by his sisters: Patricia Ann Trymbiski, Kathleen Joan Petko-Keohane and Arleen Powers. John was a fun loving uncle to Joseph, Brian, Emily, Melissa, Jennifer, Julie, Stephanie and Carolyn and a great-uncle to 20 nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate John’s life will be private.
