Jeanne Michele Reed

d. December 21, 2021

Well done my good and faithful servant. Jeanne Michele Reed, known to her family and friends as Michele, heard that call and went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Born in Doylestown, Michele was the daughter of the late Norman E Reed and Carmen (Shollenberger) Reed.

A graduate of CBHS East, Michele was an active member of the marching band and expanded her passion for the craft by marching with the Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Michele completed her education at UNCC with a BS in 1986 and a post graduate degree in accounting that led to her career as a CPA.

Michele fell in love with the Charlotte area, ultimately making her home in a wonderful development where her neighbors became her second family. Her family also included her rescued fur baby, Denali, who was her faithful and beloved companion. Michele was an active member of the University Hills Baptist Church, singing in the choir and playing in both the orchestra and the hand bell choir. She loved to travel and her mom, Carmen, was her favorite traveling buddy, attending Drum Corps finals annually and taking to the sea for many cruises.

Michele was preceded in death by her father, Norman. She is survived by her mother, Carmen Reed; her sister, LaFaun Reed Kahn (Jeff); nephews: Louis Schultz, Alan Schultz (Allison) and James Kahn; nieces: Kimberly Schultz and Ashley Borowski (Kirk); great-nephews: Alex Schultz and Ryan Schultz; great-nieces: Tessa Schultz and Macayla Borowski as well as her neighborhood family and church family.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., April 22, 2022 at Addisville Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA where friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
