Jane G. Malecki of New Britain, Pa. died on September 24th, surrounded by her family. She was 86 years old and the wife for 70 years of Theodore Malecki, Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Jane and Glenn Kellar. They moved to Mechanicsville and she attended Buckingham High School and Central Bucks H.S.
Jane and Ted have lived in New Britain for 66 years. A founding member of St. Jude Church in Chalfont, Pa. Jane was also an avid reader and seamstress, a Girl Scout leader for her daughters, a member of the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus, St. Jude’s Seniors and she enjoyed traveling and shopping.
A constant companion with Ted, she was also always very active in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Jane was a homemaker and worked many years in various administrative roles at FMC Corporation before retiring.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kathy and Bob Mock of Boyertown, Pa., Teri and Bill VanHorn of Pipersville, Pa., Mike and Nancy Malecki of Langhorne, Pa., Mark and Diane Malecki of New Hope, Pa., Joanne Malecki of Galloway, NJ and Kurt Roberts of Quakertown, Pa., as well as 12 grandchildren and spouses and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Theodore Malecki, Jr. and her daughter, Valerie Roberts.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, September 30 at St. Jude R.C. Church, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont PA 18914, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Internment will follow Mass in Mechanicsville Cemetery, Mechanicsville, Pa.
