Jacqueline H. Schneck

d. July 6, 2022

Jacqueline H. Schneck of Doylestown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022.  She was the wife of David W. Schneck and the late Larry Walker.

Born in Philadelphia, Jackie was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Edna Shaffer Gory.

She attended daily Mass and was very involved in her church. While cooking for Monsignor Powell, Jackie also put her heart and soul into the prayer gardens at Saint Cyril of Jerusalem Church always giving back to the community with the help of her church parishioners, including car loads of pajamas for St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and socks for the local  homeless.

At the young age of fifty Jackie went back to college, receiving a BA degree in Science History, where she did reenactment of Martha Washington and brought history to the next level. Jackie was a tour guide at the Moland House.

Jackie enjoyed traveling, from Ireland to Australia and countries and continents in between. Jackie would actually teach the tour guide a lesson or two.  She was always on a mission to find a new place to travel to, a new hobby to take up, a charity to invest in or a sparkly new ornament to place on one of her many Christmas trees

Jackie’s  true love and passion were her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her five children: Timmy Walker (Ann) of California; Lisa Walker (Blount) of Florida; Michael Walker (Anne); Kevin Walker  (Lynn) and Brian Schneck, all of Pennsylvania; two stepchildren: John (Theresa) and Wayne ( Denise); ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, as well as her siblings: Joan Stelmley (Gene), Lawrence Gory (Barbara) and James Gory (Pam ); nine nieces and nephews and nine great-nieces and nephews.
