Frances Prutisto Saldi – 08/15/1936 – 03/14/2025
In Memoriam
She was crowned Miss Archibald PA. Her generosity shined through in the love she put into her family, from meals to the support she provided to everyone around her.
In High School she was Junior Historian, Glee Club member, coronation queen and editor of the yearbook. In her High School Graduation year book she stated she would like to be the wife of an engineer, a wish that came through just one short year after graduation. Her favorite song at that time was PS I Love You by Mel Tormé. And then came Elvis. When asked what she would bequeath to her class, she said she would leave her beauty and wonderful personality for everyone to remember.
Fran was particularly proud to receive her BA at 68 years old having continually taken college courses throughout her parenting years.
She was an accomplished real estate agent with a penchant for interior design which she brought to each of her homes over the years, most notably here in Doylestown where she reigned supreme on everything interior while Ideal tended the outdoors to perfection. Fran traveled the world, Her home is a treasure trove of curios collected, select furniture, impeccably curated down to even the wallpaper of the dining room where immediate family would gather each thanksgiving and Christmas season, warmly wrapped in the room’s comforting embrace.
When she needed to, she never hesitated to use the full power of her voice to get everyone’s immediate attention. She lived a full and enriched life and those around her were enriched by her beauty, generosity, and kindness. A mother of four along with her husband Ideal through their 70-year partnership. In all the hearts of those who survive her, her beauty and loving kindness continues to shine bright.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
