Evelyn Werner Angeny of Doylestown passed away on September 18, 2023 at home. She was 92 years old. She was the wife of David F. Angeny.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of Royden Werner and Grace Schuyler.
Evelyn graduated from Doylestown High School and worked as an operator and clerk for Bell Telephone Company, eventually retiring from Verizon. In retirement she enjoyed volunteering in the library at Pine Run Elementary. She was also a member of Salem United Church of Christ as well as the Doylestown Chapter #327 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her son, Roy Angeny (Julie), daughter, Lynn Cooney (John), granddaughter, Michelle Schiess (Kyle), grandsons, Sean Cooney, Cameron Angeny, and Hunter Angeny, and one great grandson, as well as her sister, Edith Fluck (Chester).
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 27 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery.
