Elizabeth “Chip” Bell, a resident of Perkasie, passed away in her home on Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was 90 and the wife of the late Chief David R. Bell.
Born in Stratford, Connecitcut in1931, Chip was the daughter of the late John and Mary Duda.
She is survived by her son, John D. Bell, cousins: Mick Duda, David and Shelly Anderson and Clay and Debbie Duda.
She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Lou Duda,
Chip attended Penn State University and earned a B.S. in Parks and Recreation. In 1959, she was appointed Superintendent of the Parks and Recreation Commission in Caldwell and West Caldwell, New Jersey. Later she continued her education at Seton Hall University, studying Adaptive Physical Education. She was a teacher for the Frontier Regional and Mohawk School Districts in Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Chip modeled a life well lived and will forever remain in the hearts of those lives she touched.
Services and interment will be private.
