Eleanor Ann Wilhelm passed away suddenly on Friday, March 24, 2023, at her home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was 80 years old and the wife of the late George G. Wilhelm.
Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Veronica Jetcyk and the sister of Frances Jetcyk.
In addition to her sister, she is survived by her three children: Gregory (Suzanne), Stephen, and Linda (Gabriel), her grandchildren: Lauren, Owen, Brendan, Caroline, Madeline, Meghan and Madison, as we well as her bonus grandchildren: Amanda and Nicholas.
Eleanor graduated from Saint Laurentius School and Nazareth Academy. She earned an Associate of Arts degree at Bucks County Community College. After moving to Bucks County, she dedicated her time to raising her children and volunteering in the community. After that, she spent 36 years as an integral part of Network of Victims Assistance (NOVA) Bucks County working on community outreach and education. She dedicated her life to ensuring that victims, of all ability levels, had a voice in their time of need.
Eleanor was a lover of the arts and classical music and enjoyed many years of traveling the world. She most enjoyed time with her family celebrating the holidays and special events in life.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral Mass at 10 a.m., Friday, March 31 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown where the family will greet guests from 9 until 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow Mass in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: NOVA Bucks County, Doylestown Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Philadelphia Orchestra or Michener Art Museum.
