Ed grew up in Levittown, Pennsylvania, having graduated from Holy Ghost Prep High School and Franklin and Marshall College. He received his Master’s degree in Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University.
Ed was passionate about his family, his work and his music. Most of all, he loved spending time with his daughters. They had so much fun going on long car rides and talking, spending time at the beach and Disney World, going to the movies and listening to their favorite songs. Spending time with his children, grandchild, family and friends was Ed’s favorite pastime. His greatest talent was making his daughters feel loved and special. Ed was known for his amazing conversations especially about his kids and life. We will all miss the life lessons with Ed Banta. Much of Ed’s free time was spent with his best friends Mike, Bob and Jon jamming and creating the music they all loved. He enjoyed his colleagues at CRB and the relationships he had there. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Ed always made everything more fun with his unique sense of humor. He will always be in our hearts as E Money and Cabo Ed.
