Before developing his golf prowess, Edward served four years in the Navy and then graduated from the University of Bridgeport majoring in Industrial Design. He was an innovative designer, earning many design accolades that were unknown to his family until they visited his office and saw the many write-ups displayed on the wall.
Edward had a deep passion for golf and could still recount the day he golfed 72 holes in one day! He was ecstatic when his wife, Barbara, took up the game as passionately as he, allowing him more time on the course! He mentored many local high school students in the game who revisited frequently when they were home and needed help with their game.
Edward was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, attending Mass regularly.
Services to be announced at a later date.
