Edmond F. Corini was the loving husband of Mary Mahoney Corini for 63 years and the loving father of five children: Margaret (Barry), John (Sally), Joanne (Jack), Charlotte and Edmond Jr. Edmond and was blessed with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Edmond graduated from Villanova University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1953. While at Villanova, Edmond was inducted into the Engineering Honors Society. He continued his engineering education by attending the University of Pennsylvania specializing in the emerging field of digital computers. Edmond’s engineering career spanned over 40 years and he worked on incredibly diverse products ranging from jet engine controls, to missile guidance systems, to air traffic control systems.
Edmond was a man of faith who volunteered at Doylestown Hospital for nearly 20 years and worked with his wife, Mary, on fund raising projects for the Doylestown VIA. He was a Eucharist Minister at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Doylestown and previously taught CCD for many years. Edmond was a Boy Scout leader where some of the many scouting activities included camping and building a Pine Wood Derby racetrack.
Edmond loved spending time with his family, especially playing ball with his boys and watching sports. His other interests included reading, gardening and home improvement projects.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Friday, February 9 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where the family will greet guests from 9:30 until 10:15. Interment will follow Mass in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
