Dennis P. Rufe

Dennis Patrick Rufe of Ambler, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025 in Philadelphia due to natural causes at the age of 77. He was born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, in 1947 to the late Charles Rufe and Joyce Sweeny and attended Bucks County High School.  He attended Delaware County Community College, served in the US Air Force, worked at Trade Power, and was CEO and owner of Tacit to Explicit (T2E).

Dennis was a loving, family-centered son, husband, father, and grandfather. His family was always at the top of his priorities.  He is survived by his wife, Linda Benischeck Rufe, his son, Brian Rufe and his wife, Lisa Rufe, his son, Stephen Rufe and his wife, Candice Rufe, and his grandchildren: Abigail, Vanessa, and Jonathan Rufe.  Dennis was preceded in death by his father Charles Rufe, his mother Joyce Sweeny, and his brother Gregory Rufe.

Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.  He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2025, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 235 East State Street, Doylestown, where relatives and friends will be received from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Interment will follow Mass in Saint Mary Cemetery.
