Craig Badger of Warrington, PA passed away August 9 peacefully at home. He was 68 years old and the husband of Betty Badger (Zajac).

Born in Abington, PA (raised in Oreland, PA) he was the son of Jean Badger (Detweiler) and the late Jack Badger.

Craig attended The College of William and Mary and Arcadia University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He enjoyed a long, successful career as a Software Development Manager working for 19 years at Prudential Insurance, where he met his beloved wife, and for 16 years at Aetna US Healthcare where he received the prestigious Chairman’s Leadership Excellence award upon his retirement.

Craig and Betty enjoyed traveling the world together – most often via river and ocean cruises – with family and friends. Playing and watching sports, namely golf, baseball, softball, football, and frisbee, was a lifetime passion of Craig’s. He was an early pioneer of Fantasy Football, participating in the same league for over 25 years. After retirement he became both an avid pickleball and Kan Jam player, winning many tournaments. Craig also liked to give back to his community, donating his time to providing financial mentorship to underprivileged individuals in Bucks County.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons: John “Jack” (Megan) Badger and Bret (Stephanie) Badger; his grandson, Aiden Craig Badger; his mother, Jean; sister, Susan (Bob) Lohoefer; nieces: Amber (Vad) Levitz, Julia (Kevin) Kozak and Rebecca (Jeff) Mahon; and nephew, Fred (Julia) Zajac.

A celebration of Craig’s life will be held at a later date.
