Anthony DiCredico of New Britain, PA passed away peacefully on August 16th. He was the husband of the late Mary Raftery DiCredico.
Born in Francavilla al Mare, Italy he was the son of the late Ugo and Concetta Cianci DiCredico. He was schooled in Italy with a major in mechanics. He came to the U.S. at the age of eighteen and became a barber in Northeast Philadelphia.
Tony, as he was known to all, was an avid sports fan. His favorite sport was Formula One racing. He also loved boating and fishing. He was a friend to all animals domestic and wild. Most days, he could be found tinkering with his many cars. Most weekends were spent at the casinos and his shore house in Tuckerton, New Jersey.
Tony is survived by his son, Anthony DiCredico (Kristina Thompson) and daughter, Maria DiCredico (Robert Waegerle), as well as two grandsons that were the light of his life, Danny DiCredico and Kyle Remaily.
His funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 26 at St. Jude Church and Shrine, 321 West Butler Avenue, Chalfont, where the family will greet guests from 10 a.m., until the time of Mass. Interment will follow Mass in Beulah Cemetary 238 Almshouse Road, New Britain.
