Anna Eleanor Marsh Pearson passed peacefully from this life on October l9, 2018. The former wife of Jens Wennberg, widow of Frank A. Pearson and of Walter J. Schloss, she had resided in Pennsylvania for the past six years.
Anna was born in 1934 on the family farm in Darlington, MO, the eldest daughter of the late Robert and Birtie (Case) Marsh. She attended a one-room schoolhouse that had been built by her great great-grandfather, went on to be valedictorian of her class at Albany (MO) High School and graduated with a degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
After a move to Ithaca, New York, she worked for Stuart Howell Alumni Services and later started a wholesale jewelry business, Finger Lakes Fashion Accessories, with her husband, Frank Pearson.
In later years, she resided in New York City with her husband Walter Schloss. Together they traveled the globe, making lasting friendships and memories.
She is survived by her son, Samuel R. Wennberg (Lola); her daughter, Victoria Pearson (Sue), four granddaughters: Claire (Brian) Wennberg, Lenna (Brian) Wood, Maren (Kyle) Lowrance and Camryn Pearson, as well as two great-grandsons and er sister, Elizabeth Clarke.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service 11 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. Interment will be private.
